Our Influence
We are the voice of the secured loan broking community and lobby for a better business environment and more proportionate regulation for our members. It is our role to influence government, regulators, the media and consumer groups so they recognise the role and value secured loan brokers.
AFB is the campaigning voice of the industry we tackle the biggest of issues and focus on long term improvements that will bring sustainable benefits to the profession.
We have recently met with the FSA, FOS, OFT and the FSCS to ecxplain the role of the AFB and explain to them our aim to raise standards across the industry.
We seek to play a "critical but constructive" role in challenging the key issues that hinder our members and the market. We deliver change by lobbying with robust and analytical argument, supported by valid market research and analysis, in order to prove our case and deliver a better position for members.
