AFB Autumn Weekend

Location: The Belfry

The Association of Finance Brokers (AFB) hosted its second Autumn Weekend for Lenders and Brokers from 2 to 4 November at The Belfry. Activities included Golf, Quad Biking, Clay Pigeon shooting, Archery, Spa Treatments followed by a Gala Dinner. There were also some elaborate shapes thrown on the dance floor.

While the weekend was predominantly a social and networking event, there was some excellent discussion around the challenges facing the industry. In particular, how and why the industry needs to work together to meet those challenges. The support of our sponsors also enabled us to raise another excellent amount for our recognised charities.

At the event the Charity Prize Draw sponsored by Endeavour Personal Finance raised £1545 for two children’s charities: the NSPCC in the UK and the Spafford Children’s Center in Jerusalem.
